Office Closure

After yesterday’s Governor’s message which outlined the potential ceasing of non-emergency medical procedures due to significant load from COVID-19 and the increasing number of daily cases, I would like to outline the following changes in working procedures
Starting at the opening of business, Monday, November 30th, 2020, the Municipal building shall be closed to general foot traffic. Payments can be placed in the drop boxes. It will be possible to make an appointment to address any/all issues by calling 330-426-4367.
Until such time as the current wave is under control, all public events on Village property will not be issued a permit: this includes the Turkey Trot & Christmas Parade. Should there be any request for events not using Village property, no safety services will be in attendance.
I understand that 2020 & COVID has been frustrating, that we have all felt/feel pandemic fatigue, and that we all have a wide range of views on the reliability of numbers/responses to the virus/and so on. However, this wave is very different from the Spring – I am sure that we all now know people that are experiencing the reality of infection. We must do all that we can to protect ourselves, each other, and our families and to be a part of making every effort to minimize the impact that this virus has on our people and our Village.
Thank you for your understanding. Have a happy and healthy Thanksgiving.
